Scripture: Leviticus 23
God set apart specific times for His people—moments He identifies as His own.
Leviticus 23:2: “Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.”
Observe God’s emphasis: “These are My feasts.”
These dates represent God’s appointed schedule to reveal His redemptive plan, His Son, and His eternal Kingdom.
God’s Holy Days refocus our hearts on the Creator and His vision for humanity.
Aligning our calendars with His appointments declares His Word and ways are our foundation.

Passover
Passover commemorates Israel’s liberation from Egypt, where lamb's blood protected households.
Passover foreshadows a greater deliverance.
1 Corinthians 5:7: “For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us.”
Yeshua is our true Passover Lamb; His sacrifice cleanses us from sin. Spiritual reality is fulfilled through Him.

The Days of Unleavened Bread
We observe the Days of Unleavened Bread following Passover.
It reflects Israel’s urgent departure and signifies our call to purge sin and walk in holiness.
God desires that we live transformed lives as His redeemed people.

Pentecost
Pentecost celebrates the early harvest and God’s provision.
In Acts, God unleashed His Holy Spirit to empower believers to testify of Yeshua.
God provides divine strength to live for Him.

The Feast of Trumpets
The Feast of Trumpets points toward the return of Yeshua the Messiah.
1 Thessalonians 4:16: “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God.”
A sound will echo across the earth, announcing the King. Injustice and sorrow will end as men surrender to His rule.
Observing this feast affirms our hope rests in the coming King. Are we prepared?

The Day of Atonement
This solemn day focuses on reconciliation. Yeshua paved the way for unity.
It is a time for humility, repentance, and absolute dependence on His mercy.

The Feast of Tabernacles
Recalling Israel’s wilderness journey in temporary shelters, this feast reminds us that earthly lives are fleeting.
We pursue the Kingdom of God. This celebration previews the peace and abundance of Yeshua's reign.

The Last Great Day
The Last Great Day highlights the scope of God’s salvation. He has not forgotten any part of His creation.

Why Observe These Days?
We do not keep these days to purchase salvation; it is a free gift through Yeshua. We observe them because God commanded them to keep His vision fresh.
Every year, they retell the ultimate story:
- The Lamb was slain.
- Sin is cast out.
- The Spirit is present.
- The trumpet will blast.
- Peace is coming.
- The Kingdom will rise.
- God’s mission will be achieved.
God calls us to order our lives by His appointments. These are rehearsals for eternity.
We keep these days because God spoke them, Yeshua is in them, and they lead us closer to our Father.
The King is near. The trumpet will sound. Blessed are those ready for His Kingdom.
